Fashion Gossip, Fashion Tips, General

So that gorgeous guy has finally asked you out. You really worked at trying to catch his eye. You dressed in your best but now what do you have left? It is time to impress! Beat the jitters and follow these tips to a romantic yet extremely comfortable evening ahead.

Romance is in the air!

To really show you ate interested in him, dress in a way that shows you are a hopeless romantic at heart. This doesn’t mean that you need to get ruffled up and go shopping for ruffles. You need to dress with just a slight touch of femininity. If you really do like ruffles, pair it with a simple skirt or a plain pair of pants. Don’t ruffle yourself up from head to toe. How about a long and flowing skirt with a simple shell? Wear anything in pink. It is the ultimate colour of romance and looks gorgeous on every woman.

Sleaze? Oh No!

You might feel that if you really want to get his attention, you need to dress like Britney Spears or maybe even Li’l Kim. Sure that will get his attention, but that is definitely not something that is going to last forever. How do you keep him from wandering? Wear something with a bit of mystery around it. You should try and leave something to the imagination. A slit skirt with a polo neck. Or a sheer shirt with solid pants. Or maybe even a flowing skirt with a crocheted sweater. The options are endless. Play around with your clothes.

Comfort is Key!

Don’t wear clothes that are tight or ill fitting. You’ll only end up hurting yourself. You’ll constantly worry about pulling in you stomach or about that already short skirt riding up even further. Wear something that is roomy and gives you enough space to breathe. You want to concentrate on your date and on the conversation. You’ll only end up looking nervous, or worse, boring, if you constantly need top do rechecks.

Reveal the Inner You

Don’t pretend to be what you are not. Worse than that, don’t hide the real you either. Let the real you shine through. Accessorise well. It could be that pin you bought the other day that you thought was way too groovy or maybe even the bracelet with all your lucky charms attached. You might never wear for fear that others may laugh but now is the time to do just the thing. You’ll instantly know what the guy is like by wearing them. If he really likes you, he’ll also really like those eclectic accessories too. Wear something in your absolute favourite shade. Try a piece of jewellery which has bit of sentimental value, like something that your grandmother maybe passed onto you. Not only will these reveal more of your personality, but they are also great conversation topics if you ever do run out of anything to say.

Ditch the Designer Wear

Most men don’t know the difference between Manolos or Moccasins. So keep them safely in your cupboard where not a lot of harm could come to them. Save them for when you have a night out with your girl friends. Also, if you look way too fashionable, he might just feel intimidated by you. Any long term hopes you may have had might just go caput.
