Ethnic Fashion, Fashion Gossip, General

Golf has been gaining a lot of popularity in the sporting world in recent times. It used to be restricted to only men but women have been taking it up with a vengeance lately. Not only is it lots of fun but it is a great form of exercise for the lazy woman who would like some fresh air as well. And the great thing about it is that one does not have to work out in those terrible jumpsuits and track pants. Golf clothes are trendy, chic, elegant, and classic. Golf clothes for women are usually modelled on the preppy look of the 70s so go back in time and enjoy the reinvented trend.

Women are just as good as men when it comes to playing golf. It is no longer meant for retired old men and women or a leisurely man’s activity. It is an even better sport for single women who go to play golf with their friends with the hope of other single men. So if you really plan on catching that cutie’s eye, you need to revamp your wardrobe and take into account the ABC of golf clothes.

Women in general are clothes conscious beings and golf clothes should be no exception. Golf is played outdoors and you will be in the public eye while playing golf. People are bound to stop and take notice of you while making that crucial shot so you will naturally want to look and feel your best. Not only that, you also need to be comfortable so you can move around and walk all that ground. So, if your clothes are ultra cute but not comfortable and prevents you from bending over or walking, you need to rethink wearing that dress. To look pulled together, you should not be a person who constantly tugs and pulls at their clothes. A conscious person does not normally exude confidence.

Another thing to remember is to not wear everything in one colour. Mix and match clothes, accessories, and shades. White is the best colour to stick to. Choose from shorts, skirts, skorts, pants or capris and team them with a snazzy top. When you think of an outfit, keep the entire look in mind. Do not pair a cute dress with old shoes. Golf shoes are just as important a factor while dressing up. Season wise clothing should be worn. There is a wide variety of wind proof and water proof golf clothing available in the market. There are also some one piece dresses that are sporty yet retain its femininity.

Lija Style, Fidra, and Cyclonic are some of the clothing lines that focus mainly on golf clothes. Nike, Adidas, Puma, and Reebok are some of the common sporting lines that make golf clothes as well. You could also look at Annika Sorenstam, Michelle Wie, Natalie Gulbis, Paula Creamer, Susie Maxwell Berning, Dorothy Campbell, Joanne Carner, Laura Davies, Shirley Englehorn, Sandra Haynie, and Morgan Pressel for inspiration. Well, go golf crazy then.
