Immortal La Ville-lumière lends the runway to some other seasonal displays of the trend in future. Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, the most anticipated rituals of the elegance, was feminine, beautiful and romantic what exactly it promised to be with the architectural tailoring, curves, influences from the past, hand-executed technique, craftsmanship, and the detailing- true art of real beauty. Few magical moments
At Christian Dior show, Galliano- the genius looked as if he was held back a little. Thus time he presented a stunning collection of illustrious unique designs and beautiful fabrics instead of that larger-than-life dramatic extravaganza that he would usually form while displaying his collection. This luxurious show almost overwhelmed a selection of feminine and elegant looking pieces which were all tailored beautifully with a touch of Japanese still. However, it still paid a tribute to style and glamour of old 50s Hollywood. The garments were all about the nostalgic, alluring femininity yet with a twist, lingerie chic, sheer fabric, and the 20’s styled petite hats. The complete look paid a great homage to all legendry homage like Katherine Hepburn and Marlene Dietrich. He, Galliano also paid homage to the late well known designer Yves Saint Laurent with some beautifully decorated fabrics in smoky colors which remained favourites of the late designer.
Overstatement conjurer, Christian Lacroix, with the unique gift of his of finding some place for more ornaments and superfluities, he always comes out with a fabulous collection. Vivid colors of bred, lime, fuchsia, and orange with some delicate pastels, khaki, shell colors, black, silver, and dark blue. The hand printed beautiful fabrics with minute beautiful detailing, dazzling dresses in soft silk, taffeta encrusted with crystals, scarlet beads, and lace also embroidered in a classic style, silk roses, waterfall of the fabrics, some exotic prints, and bows, dazzled and jewelled in a wonderful parade of the timeless beauties with couture style.
For the Valentino, couture debut of the Alessandra Facchinetti was executed in a fantastic style. This young designer is one of those few young designers who are looking forward to create a collection of couture collection along with the legendry legacy of one of the greatest designers. Alessandra successfully managed to create the whole collection full of inspiration and expression, also the feel. There was a movement, pastoral aura and architectural designs. A collection of elaborate patterns, antique lace, sequences, embroideries, elaborate patterns, flowing dresses that are draped, fantastic floral prints, egg shaped jackets, gentle chiffons and silks, beautiful curvaceous and sculpted skirts, a compilation of mixed, new as well as old, and classic style sealed along with the long red ballgown in silk chiffon as homage to our popular Valentino Red.
