Alexandra Burke gets ‘X’ scent from Clive Christian

Alexandra Burke must be shouting Hallelujah as she is being showered with gifts from luxury brands wanting to congratulate her and introduce themselves to the new star

Since her win Alexandra is now deservedly able to wear the scent of ‘X’, which is produced by Clive Christian, makers of the World’s most expensive perfume. It is fitting that Alexandra was bestowed with ‘X’ perfume for her inspirational performance, especially as the Clive Christian perfume house is currently immersed in music with its Sound of Perfume project (www.thesoundofperfume.com).

The perfume was presented to Alexandra as part of a pre-store opening and VIP meet and greet from Mohamed al-Fayed at Harrods.

Madonna chooses Givenchy for her 2008 World Tour

Madonna has chosen French Haute Couture house Givenchy for her new “Sticky and Sweet” world tour which starts on the 23rd August in Cardiff (United Kingdom).

Two outfits from Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci have been created for her, one a reference to ‘Gangster Pimp’ and Art Deco, and a second which has a Gypsy inspiration.

Good, bad and everything in between, celebrity fashion has always been mesmerizing to the general public. Sure, many celebrities have personal stylists, but is it still fair for them to look fabulous again and again. Let’s focus in on the sometimes ignored but much contributing factor to celebrity fashion: jewelry.

Hayden Panettiere. The blonde bombshell has beauty that speaks for itself. Young and energetic, Hayden is constantly the envy of our fashion egos. Her style is refined and elegant; it’s no wonder we can’t help but want her wardrobe - the clothing and accessories. Hayden is know for her large and original earwear. Her favorite earring designer? Melinda Maria. Melinda Maria has a line of gorgeous gold earrings, including the Large Mesh Hoop Earrings that Hayden is always sporting.

Heidi Montag. Love or hate, we can not deny the girl has style. In a photoshoot for US Weekly, Heidi can be seen wearing Jessica Elliot jewelry. The Jessica Elliot Gold Wrought Iron Cuff makes us like her a little bit more.

Hilary Duff. I think we can all agree on one thing: she has come a long way from her Lizzie McGuire days. Trendy and mature, Hilary is definitely someone to idolize for her wonderful fashion sense. During a public outing, she flaunted an understated style: animal-inspired jewelry. Dangling from her wrist was a Kenneth Jay Lane tiger bracelet.

Nicole Richie. Despite the fact that Nicole has basically vanished from the public eye since giving birth, we can still admire her old fashion sense. Remember the red bracelet trend? Celebrities like Nicole Richie were seen wearing One of a Kind Hamsa bracelets. Lauren Conrad from The Hills wore them too. Sigh, how fashions come and go, but good tastes will always be remembered!

It’s official. Celebrity tastes will almost always be more unique and sophisticated than ours. Or, rather, they will have all the right accessories because they have the wallets AND personal shoppers to make sure of it. Why sit back and be jealous?
